Site owner terms

Version 2026-10-29 · Effective 2026-10-29 · VX Encryption, Inc. (doing business as Verigrant), a South Dakota corporation (SD Business ID DB301325), 550 N 5th Street, Suite 112, Rapid City, SD 57701. Questions: support@verigrant.com.

1. Who this agreement is between

These terms are an agreement between VX Encryption, Inc. ("Verigrant", "we") and the organization that enrols a website with Verigrant ("you"). The person who accepts them confirms they are authorised to bind that organization. Our Privacy Policy covers the personal data you give us, such as a contact name and email address.

2. What the service does

Verigrant lets you decide how AI agents may use your website. Today you can:

  • create an organization account;
  • prove that you control a site;
  • have Verigrant read the site's public pages and draft an agent front for you to review.

Built, and not switched on yet: publishing your front to Verigrant's hosted door, listing it in the agent directory, and visit reports. When each one switches on, this page says so, with a new version.

3. Proving your site

You prove control of a domain with a DNS TXT record or a file on the site. You confirm that you are entitled to act for every domain you prove. If you lose control of a domain, or someone shows us a better claim to it, we may suspend that site until it is resolved.

4. The permission you give us

For each site you enrol, you give Verigrant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as the site is enrolled, to:

  • read, copy and store the site's public pages;
  • turn them into the structured agent front you approve;
  • serve that front to registered agents under the rules you set;
  • list the site in the agent directory when you choose to be listed.

We do not use your content for anything else, including training AI models. You keep every right you have in your content.

5. Reuse terms you set

You choose what agents may do with what your front serves: keep a copy, republish, share, train, or nothing beyond reading. Each is allowed, denied or priced. When you allow or price a use, you grant that permission yourself, to the agent operators who accept it, and you confirm you have the right to grant it. The terms are between you and those operators. Verigrant carries them with each grant and checks the grant, but is not a party to them and does not guarantee that any operator keeps them.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • the content of your site and your front;
  • the reuse terms you set;
  • anything your site does in response to an agent, including any order you accept and complete.

Do not use Verigrant to publish content you have no right to publish, or to mislead an agent about what your site offers.

7. Fees

Enrolling and drafting a front are free today. If we introduce fees for the hosted door or other services, the prices will be published before they apply, and nothing is charged without your agreement to them.

8. Ending it

You may withdraw a site or close your organization account at any time. We then stop serving the site's front, remove it from the directory, and delete the copy of its pages we made, within 30 days. We may suspend or end a site's enrolment for a breach of these terms, with notice where we can give it.

9. What we do not promise, and who pays if it goes wrong

The service is provided as it is while it is being built. We do not promise that any agent will behave as its credential or your terms say, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

10. Governing law and disputes

South Dakota law governs these terms. Before either side files anything, we will both try in good faith for 30 days to resolve the dispute. Any claim goes to the state or federal courts in South Dakota, unless the law where you are based gives you the right to bring it there. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.

11. When these terms change

A new version carries a new version and effective date. We tell you in the product at least 14 days before a change that takes something away from you takes effect. If you do not agree, you may withdraw your site before then.
